Sportscover will hold a series of webinars providing the latest sports and leisure risk management advice and case studies.

The webinars are accredited by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, which means they are worth one Certified Insurance Professional point.

Each session lasts about 45 minutes, with expert guests leading discussions on risk management strategies and actual claims cases. The year-long program covers a wide range of sports including martial arts, dance and aquatics.

The schedule includes:

February 20: golf and gymnasiums; March 28: the football codes; April 18: martial arts and karate; May 23: snow and ice sports; June 20: shooting sports; July 18: the dance industry; August 22: cricket; September 19: aquatics, water sports and lifesaving; September 26: shooting sports; October 24: gymnastics; and November 21: fire safety.
