Perth-based Quantum Underwriting Agencies has named Joe Malpas as Business Development Manager.

“Joe’s appointment positions Quantum to take full advantage of the continuing growth in specie insurance that we are currently enjoying, while helping maximise our future opportunities as we roll out our broader product offerings in the coming months,” Company Director Alex Thornton told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Mr Malpas was previously a compliance consultant with Australia Wide Compliance and has worked as operations and compliance manager with financial advice business AdviceFirst.

Quantum, which also has offices in NSW and Victoria, named Neil Sheppard as a Victoria-based director earlier this month.
