QBE has won an Australian Human Resources Institute award for LGBTIQ inclusion.

The award recognises inclusion initiatives in the workplace. QBE established a Pride committee in 2015 and a “bring your whole self to work” program.

The insurer is a joint winner with alcohol company Brown-Forman.

QBE will fund a float at the next Sydney Mardi Gras, in a debut appearance in partnership with the Sydney Swans AFL club.

Pride committee members will march along with the Swans supporters’ group.
