NTI seeks new restoration project
National Transport Insurance (NTI) is looking for a run-down truck with a story to tell, with the aim of restoring it to its former glory.
Last year the company restored a vintage truck and raised $55,020 for the MND and Me Foundation, which supports Queensland families living with motor neurone disease.
To be considered, the truck must be available for restoration and, at the least, have a cab and chassis.
“Our aim is for the truck to be restored, donated to the community and put on display for everyone to enjoy,” a spokesman said.
NTI also wants suggestions for where the truck should go once restored, such as a regional museum or town centre.
