Lori Messori has resigned as NSW MD of Midland Insurance Brokers after just over a year in the role.

Melbourne-based Midland embarked on an interstate expansion at the start of last year, acquiring two NSW brokerages in Castle Hill.

The company also established a joint venture in WA and bought Melbourne-based Matt Duckworth Insurance Brokers’ portfolio. The expansion increased its overall base premium to more than $47 million.

Prior to joining Midland Mr Messori had worked in commercial distribution and broker management at Zurich.
