IAG’s former state manager for Victoria and Tasmania Lisa Jeffery has been made Head of India and Deputy CEO of SBI General Insurance, based in Mumbai.

Ms Jeffery has been at IAG since 2011, initially as Tasmanian state manager and then overseeing Victoria and Tasmania. Before that she was a national SME and personal lines manager at broker OAMPS.

Her new role, which is based around IAG’s insurance joint venture with the State Bank of India, began in December.
