Gallagher Bassett has appointed Trevor Govender to a newly created position, GM Claims Excellence and Insights, to improve its claims procedures.

He is the former head of customer service at Sunsuper, and also worked there as business intelligence manager and head of information management.

“Trevor brings a wealth of experience spanning claims management, service delivery performance and business intelligence,” COO Brad Smith said.
