Gallagher Bassett has appointed Christopher Prabu as National Business Development Manager for the General Insurance Division.

Mr Prabu’s responsibilities will include developing long-term goals, building relationships with intermediaries and overseeing the growth of product lines.

Previously, Mr Prabu was Senior Claims Adviser at Zurich, according to his LinkedIn page. He has more than eight years’ insurance industry experience.

In December Gallagher Bassett won the contract to be the new general claims management services provider for Insurance & Care NSW (icare), and the company says its general insurance division is expanding rapidly.

“I’m looking forward to developing new business opportunities and working closely with our existing clients,” Mr Prabu said.
