Berkley Insurance Australia has appointed Damien Stephen as Senior Underwriter for its information technology liability product.

Mr Stephen, who has specialised in this field for more than 10 years, will also be responsible for development and promotion of the product nationwide.

He previously worked at Brooklyn Underwriting and Axis Specialty.

“We have been looking for an opportunity to develop our IT book and are very pleased to have Damien on board,” Berkley CEO Tony Wheatley said.
