Loss adjuster Sedgwick has appointed Jonathon Vaisey as Head of Major and Complex Loss Property.

Mr Vaisey most recently spent more than 12 years at Crawford & Company Australia in Perth, finishing as Regional Head WA, SA and NT. In his new role, he will lead growth and develop client relationships.

Sedgwick GM of Property in Australia Jason Wyer says Mr Vaisey brings more than 20 years of experience as a chartered loss adjuster and has managed major loss claims in health, education, manufacturing, agriculture and retail industries throughout the Asia Pacific region.

“Jonathon has a tremendous passion for mentoring colleagues and developing their technical capability,” Mr Wyer said. “His expertise and leadership in the Australian market will support the needs of our colleagues and clients in managing major and complex losses.”

Sedgwick, which appointed Derek Roberts as COO for its Australia business in October, supports clients across casualty, property, marine, benefits, brand protection and other lines, employing 31,000 across 80 countries.

Mr Vaisey says he looks forward to developing major and complex capabilities.
