Zurich has been voted insurer of the year by members of broker cluster group Insight.

The award was announced at Insight’s Gold Coast conference at the weekend.

Zurich was also named insurer of the year by members of the National Insurance Brokers Association last year.

The Norm Dyer Young Professional Award went to Sue Irvine, of Stanton Insurance Brokers from the Victorian town of Cohuna, while the Les McInerney Community Achievement Award was presented to Amy Treacy, also from Stanton Insurance Brokers.

Insight Chairman David Hosking told insuranceNEWS.com.au Zurich deserved to win the very close contest with other insurers, and “for both the individual award winners to come from the same broker says something about that company”.
