Zurich has confirmed a string of appointments, including naming Alex Tarantino as Head of Liability, Global Corporate.

Mr Tarantino spent the past 18 months with Pen Underwriting as national underwriting manager for long-tail classes, having been recruited to Australia from QBE Canada.

Rob Blunden has been appointed Zurich’s Head of Technical Claims Property, Engineering, Construction and Energy. A chartered loss adjuster, he was most recently a major loss claims adjuster at AIG. He has also worked at Integra Technical Services, FM Global and Gallagher Bassett.

The new National Partnership Manager is Steven Bardsley, whose previous roles include senior VP at Guy Carpenter and national distribution manager at Calliden.

Stuart Sneddon, former business development manager at Suncorp Group, joins Zurich as Sales Manager for SA/NT. He was most recently at Suncorp, where he held business development and underwriting roles.
