Zurich Financial Services Australia has teamed up with the Raise Foundation to provide youth mentoring services.

The three-year community partnership will help Raise reach an additional 360 young people, matching participants with TAFE-accredited mentors.

“This community partnership will have a tangible positive impact on the local communities in which we operate and allow practical employee involvement through Raise’s unique accredited mentor training program,” Zurich’s Country Head of Human Resources Sue Maher said.

Raise offers mentoring programs that help teenagers during difficult times by offering someone neutral to talk with, building confidence and developing coping strategies.

Its services include a careers program, personal development workshops and assistance for young mothers.
