Willis Re Australia will sponsor the Reinsurance Discussion Group scholarship this year, with the winner heading to Singapore.

Applicants must submit a picture illustrating a “relevant” topic, together with a 150-word note about its impact on the insurance or reinsurance industry.

“Points will be awarded for originality, imagination and humour,” Willis Re and the discussion group say.

The winner will attend a five-day training course in July at the Willis Re Academy in Singapore, to learn about topics including reinsurance principles and practices, team competition, analytics and modelling, and reinsurance products.
