The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) has designed a new two-day course to advise owners and personnel on how to run a successful agency in current and future markets.

The Emerging Leaders course will run on March 20-21 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, followed by the UAC Sydney Expo on March 22.

GM William Legge says the course will “reinforce existing leaders’ business knowledge and enhance underwriting agencies’ capabilities for succession planning of future leaders”.

The course will cover financial management, marketing, HR, IT and agency underwriting fundamentals.

It is aimed at agency principals, state managers, underwriting and claims managers, operations and finance managers and other senior staff.
