The Insurance Council of Australia appointed two new board members at its May meeting.

Joining the board are recently appointed Zurich Financial Services Australia CEO Shane Doyle and Chartis Insurance Australia CEO Noel Condon.

Mr Doyle replaces retiring Zurich CEO David Smith, while Mr Condon’s appointment lifts the number of board places from 10 to 11 members.

The rest of the board members remain, with Wesfarmers Insurance CEO Rob Scott as President and QBE Australia Asia Pacific CEO Vince McLenaghan as Vice President.
