CGU business analyst Mei Ling Ho, the 2011 Aon Benfield Global Scholarship recipient, is gaining valuable insight into the “world of insurance” in London.

She is attending the 46th annual Aon Benfield Global Clients Reinsurance Seminar as part of her prize. The seminar will finish on Thursday.

Ms Ho, who works in the retail sales and marketing area of CGU’s international brokers division, says the award has already given her a valuable opportunity to gain more insight into the industry.

The award, which is co-sponsored by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), has been running since 2004 and recognises outstanding insurance professionals from both sides of the Tasman.

ANZIIF CEO and scholarship judge Joan Fitzpatrick says Ms Ho was a worthy winner, as demonstrated in a research essay submission that showed her strong understanding of the industry.
