Vero and GIO have opened nominations for the 16th RM Advancer Awards, which showcase the roles risk managers play in protecting their organisations.

The awards recognise outstanding performance and exceptional risk management among Vero and GIO Workers’ Compensation clients and their brokers across a range of categories.

“With the return of the awards last year after a brief hiatus, we’re excited to keep the momentum running and continue to reward the pivotal role risk managers play in helping safeguard their organisations,” Vero EGM Commercial David Hoffmann said.

“Last year’s awards saw our winners thrive with their own innovative approach to risk management challenges, and we’re hoping to see some equally great nominations this year.”

Categories include SMEs with annual turnover below $100 million or fewer than 100 employees, along with commercial, workers’ compensation and public liability.

Winners and their brokers will be recognised at a ceremony in Sydney, with up to $2000 awarded. 

Nominations are open until August 31 before finalists are announced on October 8. The awards night is on November 14 at The Tea Room in Queen Victoria Building, Sydney.
