Arthur J Gallagher State Manager Corporate Clive Higgins is WA broker of the year, the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced.

Willis Account Executive Luke Pratt is the state’s young professional broker of the year.

They will now compete for the national titles, with winners to be announced at the NIBA Convention in Melbourne on September 7.

The national broker of the year award, sponsored by Zurich, offers a professional development trip to the US.

Five young brokers are competing for the national Warren Tickle Memorial Award, sponsored by Vero, which offers a tailored personal development trip valued at about $10,000.
