JLT Sport MD David Kelly has been named the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) Victoria/Tasmania Broker of the Year.

He won the award over Adroit Insurance Group’s Brett Dunlop and John Farrell of Steadfast Taswide Insurance Brokers.

Mr Kelly will now compete for the inaugural national Stephen Ball Memorial Award, sponsored by QBE, which offers a prize worth $20,000.

Todd Arnold of Roderick Insurance Brokers was picked as the young broker winner for Victoria/Tasmania over Arthur J Gallagher’s Nick Daffy and Aon’s Aaron Sparkes.

Mr Arnold’s win puts him in the running for the national Vero-sponsored Warren Tickle Memorial Award that comes with a prize valued at $10,000.

The winners of the national awards will be announced at the NIBA Convention in September.
