The Melbourne Marine Insurance Forum (MMIF) will host its annual general meeting (AGM) on August 9.

There will be discussions on key appointments to be made with all positions on the committee to be declared vacant at the meeting, including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, and up to five general committee spots are also expected to be available.

Nominations for the positions have closed, and new appointments will be finalised by the end of the meeting.

Following the AGM, the MMIF will present a panel titled “Everything you need to know about sanctions, force majeure clauses and disruptions” hosted by Mills Oakley’s Frazer Hunt and Maurice Lynch.

The event will be held at Colin Biggers and Paisley offices on 181 William Street in Melbourne at 11.30am.
