The Medical Professional Liability Association International Conference will take place in Melbourne in October.

Avant, MDA National, MIGA and MIPS will host the event – titled Thrive 25 – at the Rydges hotel. The conference is held every three years.

“Thrive25 will provide a unique platform for CEOs, COOs, board members, senior executives, medical liability insurers and healthcare professionals to engage in high-level discussions on leadership in medical indemnity,” the organisers say.  

“Attendees will delve into adaptive leadership in healthcare, exploring strategies to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of medical indemnity.”

Experts in patient safety, risk management, corporate and defence counsel, and professional services, and university lecturers and physicians will feature. Sessions include innovation in claims management: an international perspective; and adaptive leadership in medicine, law and insurance.
