A table of insurance executives won this year’s Beat the Bosses trivia night held in Sydney’s Ivy entertainment complex recently.

The night raised more than $123,000 for the Create Foundation, which helps young people in out-of-home arrangements such as foster and residential care.

Some 320 guests from the finance industry were spread over 32 tables, three of which were represented by “bosses”.

The winning table included Accenture Head of Insurance for Australia and New Zealand Graeme Spies, retiring Munich Re Australasia MD Heinrich Eder, Claim Central Head of Corporate Strategy and M&A Remko Jacobs, AIG Australia and New Zealand CEO Noel Condon, Allianz GM Workers’ Compensation Helen Silver and QBE Chief Human Resources Officer Sally Kincaid.

Accenture and Aon Benfield tables came equal second.

The event’s major sponsor was Steadfast.
