The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) will recognise the work of members who have given “an outstanding lifetime commitment” to the industry at its annual awards night in August.

Its new Lifetime Achievement Award recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing, promoting or improving the standing and development of the insurance industry.

Nominees must have worked in the industry for more than 20 years and have a proven record of acting professionally and in an ethical manner throughout their careers.

ANZIIF invited fellows of the institute to nominate individuals they feel meets the criteria, and a short list will be drawn up this week.
