An internal restructure at the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has seen two staff leave the organisation.

The Policy, Economics and Taxation Directorate has been disbanded and its GM Alex Sanchez declared redundant. An executive assistant’s role has also been affected by the move.

Economics and taxation oversight has been folded into the Policy Regulation Directorate, headed by John Anning.

A spokesman told insuranceNEWS.com.au the restructure has been undertaken “to meet changing needs and improve organisational efficiency”.
