IAG has appointed Deloitte Digital Director Peter Bonney to a newly established role as a disruptive technology and architecture executive in its IAG Labs division.

IAG Group CIO Claire Rawlins says Mr Bonney is a “skilled and forward-thinking digital leader” with an international reputation.

“He brings a wealth of knowledge to IAG, with significant experience executing large-scale digital transformation strategies,” she said.

IAG Labs was established in July as the insurer’s digital hub for product innovation.

“It’s incredibly exciting to join IAG at a time when digital innovation is at the top of the business agenda,” Mr Bonney said.
