HDI Global SE Australia has named Kyla Wearing as Motor Underwriting Manager Western Region, a newly created role based in Perth. 
 
She will be responsible for the establishment of HDI Motor Fleet presence across WA, along with the growth and development of the portfolio. 
 
HDI says she has over 18 years motor underwriting experience and is “well known and respected” within the local insurance market. She was mostly recently senior motor underwriter at CGU, according to her LinkedIn. 
 
“I have no doubt that she will establish HDI as a leading insurer in the motor space by providing the high levels of underwriting expertise and customer service that we are known for,” Underwriting Manager Western Region David Gibbs said. 
 
In March the business introduced a motor fleet product covering all vehicle classes including heavy motor, mobile construction plant and equipment (including mining) as well as light commercial vehicles such as sedans, utility vehicles and 4x4s.
