Female insurance industry leaders and experts will appear on a webinar panel discussing gender balance in Australia. 

The Australasian Life Underwriting and Claims Association event this Thursday will examine practical ways to accelerate equality.

The line-up includes: ALUCA CEO Amanda McKernan and head of group claims Tamara Bailey; Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance CEO Katrina Shanks; Council of Australian Life Insurers CEO Christine Cupitt; and SCOR CEO of life and health for Australia and New Zealand Paula Bourke.

“The journey toward gender equality is ongoing,” Ms Shanks said. “International Women’s Day stands as a powerful reminder of both our achievements and progress, as well as the work still ahead.”

This year’s International Women’s Day theme, on March 8, is Accelerate Action.
