HDI Global says Rebekah Ashby has joined as senior underwriter for motor.

She is in charge of establishing the fleet product line in SA and strengthening the corporate and specialty insurer’s broker relationships.

Ms Ashby has more than 20 years’ industry experience, most recently as Zurich senior motor fleet underwriter for more than a decade, according to her LinkedIn.

HDI’s Australasian motor underwriting manager Khoder Chehade says Ms Ashby is “respected among her peers in the underwriting community … [Her] appointment solidifies our Adelaide strategy, which includes property, liability and now motor.”

Head of state management for Australia Stephen Jones says the appointment “highlights our commitment to developing a strong HDI presence in our Adelaide region. This growth will help us to serve our broker and client partners in SA while also expanding our motor fleet portfolio.”
