Guy Carpenter Vice Chairman Australia and New Zealand Paul Allison has been awarded the Order of Australia Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

Mr Allison, who is based in Sydney and has worked with Guy Carpenter since 2001, told insuranceNEWS.com.au he was “thrilled” with the award.

He was recognised for service to the insurance sector, and the community. He is a former board member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

RACT board Chairman Melvyn Tozer was also recognised, being made a Member of the Order of Australia for “significant service to the insurance sector, and to charitable groups”.
