McLardy McShane’s annual Christmas lunch and fundraiser for the Reach Foundation on Wednesday still has some space available for late registrations.

The annual event has been well supported by the Melbourne-based brokerage’s clients and friends, who have donated more than $700,000 to the youth charity since 2009.

About $73,000 was raised at last year’s lunch, a company executive told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

This year’s event will feature Olympic swimming champion Leisel Jones and other celebrity speakers, including sports commentator Hamish McLachlan and his brother Gillon, who is CEO of the AFL.
