Frank Earl scholarship invites applicants

Broker have just two weeks left to apply for the annual Frank Earl Memorial Scholarship.

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) launched the educational award in 2010, dedicated to the memory of long-serving NIBA board member Frank Earl, known for his drive for education and professionalism through his work on NIBA’s board and education committee.

The scholarship funds an individual to complete a Graduate Diploma of Financial Services with NIBA College.

Applicants must be employed or contracted by a NIBA member firm, have completed a suitable course in insurance broking and have a minimum of four years broking experience. Preference will be given to members of NIBA College.

The award is sponsored by Pacific Premium Funding, whose MD Stuart White told insuranceNEWS.com.au it recognises the importance his company places in “continuing education and development for the very talented people in this industry”.

Applications close on February 29.
