Underwriters and brokers need to hurry if they want to nominate for the annual Valerie Baker Memorial Award, with applications closing this Friday.

The award recognises excellence in professional practice in the general insurance intermediary sector, and is open to all Australian brokers and underwriters.

The winner receives an all-expenses-paid trip to London, a Chartered Insurance Institute short course and networking opportunities at Lloyd’s of London.

The award is sponsored by Austbrokers & IBNA Member Services, Gold Seal and Steadfast. 

The winner will be announced at Lloyd’s new Australian premises in Sydney on May 5.
