CGU promotion puts advice in spotlight

A new CGU advertising campaign will focus on the need for trusted insurance advice in times of disaster.

The advertisements, due to be launched on Thursday, feature Blue Mountains nursery owner David Sonter, who rebuilt his business after last year’s bushfires with help from his broker, Leo Di Paolo from Aon. The other three brokers featured are Richard Dunn (Driessen Insurance Brokers), Gerard Bennett (Ausure Southern) and Russell Gregory (NCB Penrith).

“We feel as insurers we have a responsibility to our communities to help our customers be well prepared and well insured should the worst happen,” a CGU spokesman told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“This means family businesses such as the Sonters are able to recover, rebuild and go back to supporting their customers and employees as quickly as possible.”

The TV, radio and digital media campaign will run until March on the east coast.
