Axis Underwriting has promoted Emily Walker to the newly created role of National Development Manager.

She is currently NSW Manager, and will transition to her new job when a replacement is found.

Before joining Axis in 2011 Ms Walker worked in broking and underwriting roles at M&R Insurance, CGU and SGIO.

In the new position she will be responsible for development of broker relationships, including key partnerships, cluster groups and networks.

The role will also involve co-ordination of development activities such as exhibiting at conferences and underwriting expos.
