ANZIIF opens Peter Corrigan scholarship
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Finity Consulting have opened submissions for the latest Peter Corrigan Scholarship for Innovation and Leadership.
The biennial scholarship, funded by Finity, provides up to $10,000 for the winner to attend an international conference or seminar program that offers professional development opportunities.
It is named after respected industry figure Mr Corrigan, who died in 2002.
“This scholarship provides a deserving insurance professional the opportunity to continue their development by honing their leadership skills and broadening their knowledge of innovation in the industry,” ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford said.
The scholarship is open to current financial members of ANZIIF with permanent residency in Australia, New Zealand or a country in the Asia-Pacific.
Applicants must work in insurance and have at least five years’ experience in the industry.
They must submit a 2500-word essay in response to the question: how will general insurance in Australia change in the next five years?
Applications close at 5pm on June 14. Visit here for further details.
