The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has announced the finalists for this year’s New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.

The winners and insurance leader of the year will be announced at a dinner in Auckland on November 6.

The finalists are:

• Broking professional of the year: David Crick of Runacres & Associates; James Shearing of Crombie Lockwood
• Claims service provider: Asteron Life; Crawford & Company; Cunningham Lindsey
• Direct insurance company: AA Insurance; AMI Insurance; FMG; Tower Insurance
• Emerging young professional: Olivia Clements of LiveLife Insurance & Mortgages; June Kuan of NZI; Henry Wallace of NZI
• Intermediated insurance company: AIG; NZI; Vero
• Life insurance company: Asteron Life; Fidelity Life; Sovereign
• Service provider: Finity Consulting; JB Hi-Fi.
