Ansvar Insurance has recruited three senior managers to build on its actuarial and underwriting capabilities.

Robert Cameron joins as Pricing Actuary, tasked with bringing rigour to the pricing cycle. He previously spent six years as a director at WorkSafe Victoria and has also worked for IAG and NAB.

Kerry Thom becomes Financial Lines Underwriting Manager, having moved from Allianz. He has also worked at Vero Profin, CGU and ANZ.

In February Maree Ward took the role of Senior Underwriter Strategic Partners. She has 20 years’ industry experience and joined from the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority.

CEO Warren Hutcheon says the recruits “bring new thinking and skills that align well with our existing team”.

Ansvar specialises in providing insurance for the care, community, education, faith and heritage sectors.
