Perth-based Liberty Specialty Markets executive Paul Hare has died after fighting illness for several years. 

Liberty Head of Casualty and Professional & Financial Risks Asia Pacific Marcus Thomas says Mr Hare was a “very interesting and entertaining person to get to know,” and a significant contributor to the Perth insurance market, in particular the financial lines sector.  

Mr Hare, who was Technical Training and Development Manager for Professional and Financial Risks at Liberty after starting there in 2018, helped establish many successful portfolios across numerous companies over many years. 

“His extensive intellect, good humour, kindness and dedication to many people that he worked with showed how passionate he was about helping others,” Mr Thomas said. 

“Paul was a team-first colleague who celebrated the success of others fondly and he will be missed very much by those who knew him.”
