AIG manager named APIG president
The Australian Professional Indemnity Group (APIG) has elected AIG Australasia Commercial Institutions Manager Jeremy Scott-Mackenzie as National President.
Mr Scott-Mackenzie has served on the APIG national committee and education sub-committee for the past three years.
He replaces Andrew Strain, whose three-year term as president has ended. He previously served as treasurer and he has been an APIG member since its foundation in 1995.
“Through Andrew’s leadership, APIG has been able to further the education and development of financial lines professionals throughout the Australian insurance industry,” Mr Scott-Mackenzie said.
The national committee has also welcomed new members Jaydon Bourke-Douglas (Dual) and Katherine Allsop (QBE).
