The Actuaries Institute will host a webinar on the presentation of an upcoming green paper by Finity experts on the impact of climate change on insurance premiums and different sectors of the population on August 22.

Authors Sharanjit Paddam, Calise Liu, and Saroop Philip will head the online panel to discuss key findings in the report and assess what policymakers and other stakeholders can do to provide solutions to combat increasing premiums.

In addition to the green paper, the authors have updated earlier works from the firm to reflect how insurance cost pressures vary across the country based on socio-economic and geographical factors.
