Time running out to grab Insurance News seminar tickets

Tickets for an Insurance News seminar exploring how to stay up to speed and seize opportunities in insurtech are available for one more week.

The August 6 full-day event will be at Dockside Cockle Bay Wharf at Sydney’s Darling Harbour. Tickets can be bought here.

Leaning in to new technology is crucial for insurance businesses looking to distinguish themselves on service, pricing, offerings and reputation in a digital landscape. At the seminar, experts will examine what technology is available, and the benefits and unique challenges across all stages of the pipeline.

“Our seminars are already proving extremely popular,” Insurance News publisher Terry McMullan said. “This technology event provides the ideal opportunity for brokers and other industry professionals to hear from expert speakers on a range of critical issues.”

Expert speaker sessions will include: The Broker Challenge; Envisioning the Future; Are We Ready for Insurance 3.0?; Racing Against Regtech; and Does Technology Back Up Its Claims?

There will also be an insurtech pitch competition and a debate on Promise v Reality: Can Technology Really Change a People-Based Industry?

Speakers include NTI CEO Tony Clark, Austbrokers Countrywide MD Tim Considine, Cover Genius CEO Angus McDonald, 360 Underwriting Solutions director Denis Morrissey, BJS Insurance operations leader Dianne Phelan, QBE Ventures head of emerging technology Alex Taylor, CGU EM broker relationships Peg Vaghaye and Marsh Pacific head of growth and digital Johannes Veldsman.

The event is sponsored by AAMC, SSP, Javln and Insurtech Australia, and attendees qualify for 5.5 NIBA CPD points and six ANZIIF CIP points.
