Cover-More Group is to recruit a new Group CEO after the appointment of Cara Morton as Zurich Global Ventures Chief, effective February. 

Sydney-based Ms Morton will continue to lead Zurich’s Cover-More travel arm, where she has been CEO since 2020, until her successor is appointed.  

She will relocate to Zurich and report directly to the insurer’s Group CEO Mario Greco, and become a member of the Zurich Group Executive Committee. 

Jack Howell, who has led Zurich Global Ventures since 2021 and was pivotal in the acquisition of Cover-More in 2017, will return from Switzerland to the US to be with family. 
 
Ms Morton was appointed Cover-More COO in 2018 before taking the Group CEO role in 2020. She was formerly Group Head of Operations at QBE.
