NIBA seeks ‘forward-thinking insights’ in member survey

The National Insurance Brokers Association has launched its annual member survey, seeking feedback on insurer engagement, expectations and other matters that will shape the industry’s future.

NIBA says the survey provides “forward-thinking, practical and actionable insights” and is essential for insurers, underwriting agencies and brokers.

It can help brokers and insurers improve branding and meet industry key performance indicators, the association adds. The findings will also help to decide NIBA’s insurer of the year award winners, including best large general insurer, specialty insurer and underwriting agency.

The association will announce the award winners in October at its annual convention.

“NIBA is committed to deepening broker-insurer relationships by measuring and understanding the broker-insurer dynamic,” CEO Richard Klipin said.

“The survey focuses on expectations, brand perceptions and broker/customer experiences, providing brands with a competitive edge in the industry landscape.”

The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and members will earn two CPD points for taking part. Participants will also be in the running to win a $550 pre-paid Mastercard prize.

The closing date is August 16. NIBA has emailed members a personalised link to the survey.
