Crawford fills key divisional roles
Loss adjuster Crawford & Company has made key appointments in its Australian construction, property and forensic accounting divisions.
Stephen Toomer has become head of construction for power and energy; Josephine Princi has joined as NSW team leader for the forensic accounting division; and Werner Gibson has returned as senior adjuster in the global technical services team, which handles large and complex property losses.
Mr Toomer is based in Melbourne and started in June, according to his LinkedIn. He was previously a senior regional adjuster at McLarens.
Crawford says he has nearly two decades’ experience working on power and engineering claims associated with hydro, coal, diesel and petrochemicals. He has also handled major and complex claims involving ports and terminals, and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and tunnels.
Ms Princi, based in Sydney, started last month, according to her LinkedIn. Before that she was a supervisor at loss adjuster Sedgwick.
“Josephine comes with almost a decade of experience and specialises in the quantification of business interruption and stock commercial losses throughout the Asia-Pacific region and the UK,” Crawford said.
Mr Gibson, who was a loss adjuster with Crawford from February 2018 to December 2020, began his current role in June, based in Brisbane. He was previously a senior adjuster at Sedgwick, according to his LinkedIn.
Crawford has also made several promotions. Loss adjuster Alastair Boyes in Perth and commercial loss adjuster Theo Sapountzis in Melbourne have been made global technical services general adjusters; Melbourne-based external claims adjuster David Gibson becomes a commercial adjuster.
