Zurich extends support to flood-affected customers
Zurich has announced it will extend hardship and emergency support for customers affected by flooding in NSW, Tasmania and Victoria.
It says it will continue to offer emergency and interim payments to policyholders and has begun preparing builders and assessors to fast track claims settlement once access is available.
The insurer also says it will be offering support packages for Zurich Life and OnePath Life customers who have been directly impacted by flooding or have worked with emergency service teams in affected areas.
“As many continue to face the threat of flooding, others are now grappling with the aftermath. Zurich is here to ensure customers receive the immediate support they need as they begin to navigate the challenges ahead,” Zurich Australia and New Zealand Chief Claims Officer Life & Investments Suzi Leung said.
