Insurer Youi has partnered with property marketplace Domain, acting as the contact centre for the company’s insurance arm, Domain Insure.

Youi will sell home and landlord insurance policies transacted by underwriting agency Blue Zebra’s policy management system, with claims being outsourced to third-party providers. Youi also underwrites Domain Insure policies.

Youi EGM of Product and Partnerships Tony Antonucci says Youi is extending its home products to new markets through its underwriting partnership with Blue Zebra, which was formed early last year.

“Youi agreed to help support the growth of Domain Insure by taking over the call centre sales and policy management from Astia,” he said.

“More broadly this is only one way we are working with Blue Zebra to support and expand their underwriting agency.

“We recently supported Blue Zebra’s launch into the Steadfast Client Trading Platform (SCTP) after successfully launching commercial motor and SME products.

“The Domain and SCTP integration has given us a significant insight around Blue Zebra capabilities as a technology platform provider which is exciting for our growth ambitions.”
