Suncorp NZ increases social investments
Suncorp New Zealand has upped its investment in “wellbeing bonds” by $NZ6 million ($5.55 million), boosting its wellbeing investments to $NZ20 million ($18.49 million).
The bonds are issued by Housing New Zealand as part of its Sustainability Financing Framework to help fund investment in new or upgraded sustainable social housing.
Suncorp NZ CFO Jimmy Higgins says investing in the bonds will help to develop more healthy, sustainable homes and increase access to affordable housing.
