Suncorp app accelerates digital engagement
Suncorp launched a money management app today that has been designed to help customers manage financial matters including insurance.
Called Suncorp App, it is part of CEO Michael Cameron’s “marketplace strategy” to reshape the financial services giant.
Its virtual assistant Scout can provide information on when insurance payments are due. It is also equipped with a “Property Explorer” function that highlights risk features such as flood and fires specific to properties and suburbs.
“The app is a fundamental step in our strategy to create a digital first environment and we’re excited to release it to our customers,” CEO Customer Marketplace Pip Marlow said.
“Customers want consistently great experiences across the channels they choose to engage with us on, especially online.”
The app provides access to Suncorp’s stable of brands including banks and insurance as well as third-party solutions.
