QBE will partner with fintech hub Stone & Chalk for its inaugural Insurtech Program, which engages tech startups to solve customer-specific business problems.

The program focuses on bringing innovation from the outside-in, and startups are invited to respond to problem statements in an application.

If chosen, they will then attend a bootcamp and accelerator phase, culminating in a final pitch day in May where they showcase their solutions.

QBE says it will gain access to solutions to bespoke business problems, while the startups benefit from technology support, introductions to key decision makers and insight that will help them fast track project approval.

Other corporate partners of the program are EY, Hall & Wilcox and TAL.
